Bishop Maze

by zenith-dev ↗ E — Everyone v1.0.0
puzzlesingleplayerstrategy ♟ Uses the chess bishop and its defining rule — movement strictly along diagonals — as the core mechanic.

Bishop Maze

Navigate a chess bishop through a series of increasingly complex mazes. The catch? You can only move diagonally — just like a real bishop.

Each level presents a grid with walls blocking certain paths. Find a route from your starting square to the glowing star goal, and try to do it in par or fewer moves. Move hints show you where you can go, and your trail shows where you've been.

10 handcrafted levels take you from a simple open board to dense, winding mazes that will test your spatial thinking.

Rules

  • Move the bishop from the starting square to the star goal
  • The bishop moves diagonally only — any number of squares in a diagonal direction
  • Dark hatched squares are walls — the bishop cannot pass through or land on them
  • If the bishop gets stuck with no valid moves, the level resets
  • Try to reach the goal in par moves or fewer
